ST. LOUIS – The Ethical Society of Police held the first session of their free 10-week pre-academy training program to prepare those interested in a career in law enforcement Tuesday evening.
“There’s a lot of vacancies in law enforcement. There are a lot of vacancies and it’s not just on the commission side…we’re here to promote policing in a different light,” Sgt. Donny Walters, president of the Ethical Society of Police, said.
The program prepares anyone 18 and older for success in St. Louis City’s training programs for public safety careers such as police officers, dispatchers, park rangers, city marshals and administrative roles.
