ESOP Officers help probationers and parolees create a better life through the St. Louis Police Partnership Program

Join us in celebrating our ESOP officers who are going above and beyond through their work in this program!

The St. Louis Police Partnership Program helps “probationers and parolees – some of whom have been involved with gangs – find work or job training resources and avoid illegal activity and other risky behavior.” Our officers made frequent contact, including home visits, while probation officers helped participants create a better path in life.

“I’m very passionate about the program because I grew up in the city and I just know not everybody’s afforded second chances,” said St. Louis Police Detective Dorrell Sherrill.

Eligibility for the program is determined through a screening process by staff at the Missouri Probation & Parole and city police. “The program changed my life,” said one participant after she graduated with a diploma through the program.
