The Ethical Society of Police is committed to advocating for marginalized communities, protecting the rights of the underserved, and standing firmly against discrimination in all forms. Our mission centers on ensuring that Black and Brown communities receive equitable treatment, meaningful opportunity, and a justice system that works for everyone. It is through this lens that we offer our full endorsement.
Since 2018, Senator Williams has represented the 14th District in St. Louis County with distinction. Throughout his tenure, he has demonstrated a thoughtful and forward-thinking approach to public safety reform, economic development, and community investment. His legislative leadership reflects a clear understanding that strong communities are built through fairness, accountability, and access to opportunity.
At this critical moment, North County faces significant economic challenges. Longstanding disinvestment has led to businesses relocating to more lucrative markets, limiting access to quality retail, services, and employment opportunities for residents—many of whom are Black and Brown families. Senator Williams recognizes that North County is not defined by its challenges, but by its potential. He sees the region as a vibrant and resilient community deserving of strategic investment, modern infrastructure, safe neighborhoods, and equitable access to education and economic growth.
In our discussions with Senator Williams, we were impressed by the depth of his commitment to inclusive leadership and his readiness to collaborate with community stakeholders, advocacy organizations, and law enforcement professionals. He understands that progress requires partnership. His vision aligns closely with the values of the Ethical Society of Police—accountability, transparency, diversity, and opportunity for all residents of St. Louis County.
