DETAILS:
Captain David Dorn was a member of the Ethical Society of Police during his entire law enforcement career with the City of St. Louis – Metropolitan Police Department. He mentored numerous officers in SLMPD, and he was a staple in the communities he served. Dorn was a lifelong St. Louis City resident, but he served in the St. Louis County area as the Moline Acres Chief of Police after retiring from SLMPD. David Dorn never stopped serving the community and that is why Captain Dorn’s family, ESOP and so many others want to honor his legacy with a memorial highway sign, street re-naming at the location of his senseless murder, and a luncheon in his honor.
